About Professor Dinah Zur

Dr. Dinah Zur is a Professor in Clinical Ophthalmology at Tel Aviv University and President of the Israeli Retina Society.
She heads the Center for Retinal Degenerations at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Dr. Zur is an internationally recognized expert, specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of complex retinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic eye complications, retinal vein occlusions, central serous chorioretinopathy, and inherited retinal diseases. She has extensive experience in intravitreal injections and advanced laser treatments, including photodynamic therapy.

As a leading researcher, Dr. Zur participates regularly as a speaker in international conferences and serves as principal investigator in clinical trials for innovative retinal therapies. She is an active board member of the EURETINA Diabetes and Vascular Diseases Subspecialty Section and serves on the board of the Israeli Society for Eye and Vision Research. Moreover, she is a scientific committee member of the “Lirot” Association and part of the Israeli Consortium for Inherited Retinal Diseases.

Dr. Zur is a member of several prestigious professional societies, including the Macula Society, the European Society for Retina Specialists (EURETINA), and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
